Olivia Pope is a fascinating character, of “Scandal” fame. Olivia Pope heads a crisis management firm in Washington, DC, Pope & Associates, where she and her team are in charge of handling the misdeeds and problems of various people throughout the nation’s capitol. Some days they are dealing with a frisky young Democratic senator, and other days they are dealing with one of their own who was on trial for murder before assuming a new identity.
The great thing about Olivia is that she knows pretty much everything there is to know about people, and if she doesn’t know, she asks her team to find out for her. As the head of a crisis management team, she is able to know who will be able to do what for her, which is also an important aspect of the politics game (with which she has plenty of experience, as she worked on the campaign trail for the show’s recently elected President). Below is a rough estimate of her leadership in Season One - more detailed analysis to come!
Initiative - 8/10
Bravery - 7/10
Independence - 7/10
Creativity - 8/10
Influence - 9/10
